Great experience!! We did it as a couple and we had an instructor for just us two. We got to catch a few waves alternating between the both of us and with the very helpful guidance of our instructor. It was a very exhilarating experience!! We highly recommend them if you want to take your first lesson or just freshen up your skills and surf with someone that knows the area.

We booked a surf lesson for our 10 year old twin boys with Michael and it was an amazing experience for them. He took time to teach them about board safety and the best technique for paddling and standing up and made sure they understood it before taking them out in the water. He took them to a less crowded spot away from the rocks, was mindful of the current and was so encouraging, positive and patient with them [...] I'd recommend theses lessons over any other ones you will find in costa rica. if you want to learn to surf Michael is your man! My kids and a lot of visiting friends have learned over the years. He has a lot of patience and LOVES being in the water. We have also used them for day excursions to Palo Verde and Ostional. He is prompt, loves his country and shares so much information. I cannot recommend highly enough. Go you won't regret it!
